This GSS-70 slab surfacer is designed for planning and sanding any large surfaces such as, but not limited to, table tops, counter tops, fireplace mantels, and timbers which are exactly the same except width. The GSS-70 can be used on 70″ groundbed track and planes up to 70″ wide surfaces.  This surfacer comes with a 35HP Briggs VanGuard engine that powers a direct-drive double hydraulic pump to power the machine. This is a rugged heavy duty machine for the serious woodworker. Comes standard with cutterhead and an extra set of carbide inserts and sandinghead with 10 pieces of sandpaper. Can also be used on concrete slab track if customer builds thier own slab holding clamping table. The dust collection blower kit will increase the production of these machines. Does not include track or powerfeed roller chains.

The ESS Electric Slab surfacer is the same as the the GSS gas surfacer except it is powered by a 30HP 3-phase techtop electric motor available in 460 or 230 volt. Comes standard with start-stop switch to mount on surfacer, 50′ of wire between motor, and soft start mounted in a safety disconnect enclosure. The dust collection kit will increase production of this surfacer. There is no price difference between 460 & 230 volt. Does not include track or powerfeed roller chains.
